TEMPLATES

Grok Bot Templates

A Grok Bot template is a starting setup for one job: the role, the rules it remembers, its skills, its routines and what it must ask before acting. Every template here is free and installs by pasting one message into a new Bot.

How to choose

  1. Pick by output. Each card shows what the Bot hands back. Choose the one whose output you would actually read.
  2. Check the plugins. “No plugins” templates run on the Bot’s own browser. Others need you to connect an account.
  3. Check the usage note. Light templates run small, bounded tasks. Medium ones read more or run on a schedule.
  4. Run it once by hand. Routines are created paused. Turn them on after the first run looks right.
Which template should I start with?

If you have never set up a Bot, start with one that needs no plugins, such as Daily Brief or Competitor Snapshot. You will see the full install and first run without connecting any account.

What is included in a template?

The Bot’s role, rules saved to memory, one or more skills, routines created in a paused state, and the actions it must ask before taking. The kit also lists recommended Auto-review rules and first-run checks.

Are these better than the official Marketplace?

They are different. The Marketplace installs a copy through a share link. Boterly templates install from a pasted message, document every rule and routine, and come with a usage note. You can use both.
